Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup crushed almonds (I prefer them salted and roasted, but you can use any nuts you like)
- 2 TBSP diced red onions
- 2 TBSP honey
- basil leaves (or dried basil, but fresh is absolutely better)
- olive oil
- 1 TBSP butter or plant-based substitute
Directions:
- Bake or fry any white or light fish, like tilapia, sole, trout, etc.
- In a small fry pan, sauté red onions in a little oil until cooked.
- Add crushed almonds to pan until toasted.
- Add butter and let melt in pan.
- When butter is melted, add honey and torn or sliced basil leaves. Combine everything well in pan.
Serve over cooked fish.
