Quick Lemony Sauce for Chicken or Fish

Ingredients:

  • 1 TBSP Butter or Earth Balance for dairy free
  • Chopped Thyme
  • 1/4 cup chicken stock
  • 1 Lemon 🍋


Directions:

1. Melt butter in small saucepan
2. Add thyme and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
3. Stir in stock and bring to a simmer.
4. Take off heat and stir in a squeeze of lemon.


Pro Tip:


If you aren’t dairy free, you can make this a creamy sauce by stirring in sour cream with the lemon juice at the end.
